About Our Kindergarten

At Larch Street Kindergarten we aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment where your child feels valued, safe and respected.

Together with the children we encourage their individuality and unique learning styles, developing a learning environment that promotes social responsibility, inclusion and respect for others. 

We strive to provide opportunities for exploration, experimentation and an inquisitiveness for learning. These qualities will further enhance and support the wellbeing and sense of belonging of our children and their families within the community.

Larch Street Kindergarten is managed by YMCA Ballarat who oversee the organisation and running of many kindergartens throughout Victoria.  

Our Parent Advisory Group

The Larch Street Kindergarten Parent Advisory Group is a friendly and inclusive team who work together to ensure the best possible experience for children and the wider community.

The Parent Advisory Group are volunteers of the appointed management, who organise and participate in fundraising, working bees, social and other community events on behalf of our kindergarten.

A Victorian Government approved kindergarten

Larch Street Kindergarten is a Victorian Government approved Kindergarten, which means:

• Our kindergarten program is led by a qualified teacher

• Our children benefit from play-based learning

• Our kindergarten is funded and approved by the Victorian Government
